What to expect during our Learn to Row Weekend:
We will take you through all the basics of sweep rowing: the rowing stroke, the equipment, technique and safety, both on land and on the water.
Enjoy expert coaching, catered meals, yoga, massage and a little swag, all provided by our dedicated team members and wonderful supporters.
Step 1:
The Rowing Machine
You’ll learn the basic rowing stroke technique on a rowing machine, also called an erg.
Step 2:
The Training Barge
Take your new rowing technique knowledge to the water in our wide, stable barge.
Step 3:
The Rowing Shells
After working on oar handling and teamwork in the barge, row with experienced rowers in a racing shell.
